fudgester SG *me mysteriously appears in a flash of lightning* Ok... I've dealt with the NUS Student Service Center on the issue of them regarding me as a Yr 4 student even though I'm still in my third year. It may seem like a minor issue, but it is causing me major problems as we speak - because of this screw-up, I've been barred from registering for a module I want to go for over the holidays. And not to mention the potential problems I could face when I'm actually in Yr 4 and the system thinks that I'm an overstayer. Apparently their software thinks that I'm a Yr 4 student because I had overloaded on a couple of semesters and claimed credit for an internship last year. They told me that 'We would look into it', but I retorted: 'Don't just look into it. MAKE IT HAPPEN!' And I ranted at them for causing me so much trouble.... it culminated with a threat of me going to the Dean of Engineering for an investigation.
fudgester SG No lah.... I agree that I had taken six instead of the recommended five modules in two semesters (including the current one, in fact). But then again, I'm not the only person to do that. Quite a number of people I know did that as well. If anything, one of my seniors actually overloaded by taking SEVEN modules in two of his semesters. The end result? His final year was a walk in the park for him.
